Dharma, is a Malay Dance group from Republic Polytechnic. Under the tutelage of Fathurrahman Said, Dharma has blossomed ever since 2004. Dharma has been involved in several dance competitions and invitational performances. Just this year, the group has been invited to perform in the Singapore Arts Festival and Muse III production, just to name a few. The group is also planning to participate in a 24-hour dance festival in Solo, Indonesia. Under the wings of
Fathurrahman Said, Dharma has evolved into becoming one of the more recognised award-winning schools in the Malay Dance Scene.

update at last!
Assalammualaikum! Firstly, i really think the blog needs some life...right?? Just to update on things, the Juara tari went by a long time already and congratulations to Asri's team for getting second placing. & congratulations to Asri as well for getting the promising choreographer. i think...? hahah...opps. as i've said, its been some time, so i've quite forgotten the details. Anyway, i know for sure that some of the dancers in the other team are a little upset. Well, its okay girls. we did our best and we put up a good performance. this is part and parcel of competitions. so better luck next time..? =D Right now, we're getting ready for the upcoming events such as Pesta Raya as well as Reflection 09. Excitement is in the air. and i'd surely say that those who haven't been coming are missing out real bad. The choreographys are interesting. To the year ones, do your best to impress okay..? the seniors have faith in you girls.=D more to update...but im not sure what to say. oh well. will update more soon. and with pictures? love, Marina. |
